Burnout Paradise Remastered - Review

I see you over there EA dreaming up a way to sting people for money again.
What is it this time free to play or more of those fantastic loot creates that you love so much,
Wait whats this ........ A remastered version of Burnout Paradise with all the DLC Included, Are you ok
EA this seems a bit out of sorts for you but oh well.

The original Burnout came out 17 years ago now and Burnout Paradise 10 years ago which now means it was
prime for a remastered version, So the last generation is now far enough back to remaster or remake the games
it produced, geez i've got t-shirts older then Burnout Paradise but considering the triple A industry has been
creatively bankrupt for a while I suppose this will do.

If you've never played a Burnout game its a high speed racer with High risk game play and fantastic over the top
crashes and with Burnout Paradise an open world with more npcs to smash into, But we don't want to upset anyone
so there's no people in Paradise City leading to a strange ghost town where there's only cars,  There's nobody in
these cars this is just a world of sentient cars, Well there is DJ Automica on the radio but i'm not even
sure he's a real person....Anyway.

Burnout Paradise was something of a complete reinvention for the series, taking place in an open world instead
of the rigid framework of different modes accessible from a menu screen, Paradise allows players to access
races and challenges on the go by pulling up to an intersection and revving their engine using the trigger buttons
on their respective controllers.

These events ranged from races which were just simple point to point races but with no fixed route allowing you to
find the optimum route to the finish line, To road rage challenge in which you win by performing a number of take downs.
Also included were events like stunt run in which you score points by performing stunts (pretty self explanatory) and
marked man in which the player has to reach a destination whilst opponents try to stop them by taking them down.
Crash mode also returns but this time under the name showtime in which the player must do as much damage as possible.

Cars in the game now have a manufacturer make and model name which are lets say loosely based on real cars.
They can be changed by driving through junk yards, be repaired and have the boost meter filled by driving through
auto shops and petrol stations and can be repainted by going through spray shops.

The remastered edition not only beefs up the game to support 4k and 60fps but also includes all of the dlc (apart
for the time saver pack that unlocks all the cars).

If you've not played paradise before this is well worth picking up and even if you have played it before its worth
investing in. Its out on the usual suspects PS4, Xbox One and there's a PC release scheduled for later this year so there's
plenty of options.

Happy Crashes (not in real life obvious that would be awful)
