Last major briefing of E3 2018. Its Nintendo.

The Nintendo Direct kicked off with awesome robots and mechs in a trailer for Daemon X Machina

Next up a gamplay and cinematic trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Out September 2018, looks very pretty

Reggie pops up to show more of Pokemon Lets go Evee and Lets Go Pikachu and the new Pokeball thing
It's out November 16th.

New Mario Party in the form of Super Mario Party that has a screen link ability thing. Looks Cool.

Fire Emblem Three Houses is shown of and will be out sometime Spring 2019.

FORTNITE IS NOW AVAILABLE ON SWITCH FROM TODAY, Sorry got carried away.

Overcooked 2 is out August 7th and Hollow Knight is out Today.

Then there was a very quick run down of new titles coming including the likes of Ark, Dark Souls and I'm guessing
a remake of The World Ends With You.

Finally the rest of the direct was taken up Smash Bros and my god this took forever and just put me off the whole thing.

(THERE WAS NO ANIMAL CROSSING)

This was really disappointing, I'm going to go eat some cakes.

E3 2018 - Sony Press Conference

Well its another late one but Sony's Briefings just wrapped up so lets get down to it.

We kick off with The Last of Us Part 2. In a pre rendered trailer that tells us nothing much about the game
at all. But then we do go into a gamplay trailer, which again we should all take with a pinch of salt. (Brutal Though)

Then we decided to take an intermission so people in the crowd could move along to the next experience. 2:30 am in the UK

We return with Call of Duty which is fine if you're into that kind of thing.

And now back to the intermission with a highlights package of some VR stuff and Destiny 2 DLC called Forsaken.

Finally we get to the Showcase. (After a music interlude)

We get under way with a gameplay trailer of Ghost of Tsushima which looks pretty awesome and is well worth keeping an eye on if you're
into your hack and slash.

Next up is announcement trailer for new IP Control. not much is known. it looks odd though.

Resident Evil 2 is getting a remake and its out Jan 25th.

From Rick and Morty creators comes Trover Saves the Universe

More Kingdom Hearts 3 this time with a focus on Pirate of the Caribbean and a limited edition console.
Also an all in one package with two other kingdom hearts games.

Next up Death Stranding with a trailer that shows off a bit more, Kind off a lone wanderer thing going on.
Looks fucking gorgeous though (creepy baby not with standing).

Koei Techmo and Team Ninja up next with Nioh 2 in a short trailer.

Woo Spiderman makes an appearance with a gameplay trailer. Combats very Arkham Asylum but that's not bad thing.
However It remains to be seen if the web swingings any good.

Well that was it for the Showcase we went back to the intermission panel and quite frankly its 3:15am I don't need to here
them gush over there own game.

Anyway after what was a lackluster Playstation showcase we move on to Nintendo.

E3 2018 - Ubisoft Press Conference

Ubisoft has just wrapped up, So here we go.

We kick off with dancing pandas and Just Dance 2019 because it wouldn't be Ubisoft without Just Dance.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 got another trailer and some pre alpha game play. It looks great and I can't wait
for this to come out. Also the Space Monkey Program is announced and allows anyone to create art for the game
thanks to Hit Record and a special appearance by Joseph Gordon Levitt.

New Rainbow Six Siege update with new content, E-Sports and a documentary, So yeah Hmm.

Now this is more like it Trials Rising introduced to us by a Redlynx director on a dirt bike. Register for
the closed beta now and it will be out February 2019.

More Division 2 with a new trailer looks ok but it now has raids which is kinda dull, But all the future DLC
will be free.

Mario and Rabbids Kingdom gets some new DLC in the form of Donkey Kong Adventure.

Now Skull and Bones gameplay looks smashing, I know its not really to be trusted and we won't get the game until some
time in 2019 but it looked great with some fantastic customization options.

Elijah Woods came on to the stage to announce that the game his film company has been working on with Ubisoft will
be out Autumn 2018. Transference VR looks creepy and I've heard it's kinda like Black Mirror.

Starlink Battle for Atlas was given another trailer and a release date (October 16th) Toys to life kinda of thing
now with added Star Fox.

The Crew 2 will have a beta starting 21st June.

Lastly Assassin's Creed Odyssey was given an airing, Out 5th October and set in Ancient Greece players will get to
choose between a male or female protagonist for the first time and all in all from what we saw it looks ok.

It was a good presentation from Ubisoft this year and a lot of things to look forward too.

E3 2018 - Square Enix Press Conference

Shadow of the Tomb Raider kicked of the show with a game play trailer and seems to have become Metal Gear Tomb Raider: Snake Eater.

Final Fantasy was up next with a few titles mostly including some online stuff along with a crossover between Final
Fantasy 14 and Monster Hunter World which is sure to please someone.

The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit looks good and its free so you can't really go wrong.

Dragon Quest 11 Echos of an Elusive Age was announced, I Really love the art style in Dragon Quest games and this looks just as gorgeous. There is another crossover coming this time between Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest.

A new IP from Platinum Games called Babylon's Fall which looked a bit Dark soulsy but that maybe that's just me.

Another look at Nier Automata Definitive Edition.

Octopath Traveler gets a release date finally (July 13th) after having a demo on the Switch store for the better
part of a year.

More Just Cause 4 which just looks as fun as hell.

Another new IP called The Quiet Man debuted not to much is known as yet but we were promised more in August so watch
this space I guess.

last up was Kingdom Hearts 3 which showed a bit more in a new trailer.

That was it really the whole thing, It only lasted about 30 mins and well was a bit of a let down.
There was no Final Fantasy 7 and no news of that Avengers project.

Anyway Ubisoft is up next and that's anyone's guess what they'll talk about.

We did get a game play trailer from a very tall man and a date of Summer 2019.

The card game Elder Scrolls Legends is getting an over haul and is on its way to home consoles.

Now Elder Scrolls Online. More DLC on its way based on Blackmarsh this time, Out later this year.

Next a joke about Skyrim coming to Alexa and etch a sketch.

Fallout 76 was next showing the same trailer that was showed at the Microsoft Press conference. we did get a pre rendered

It looks good and apparently you can play solo but they prefer you don't. There will however be a beta and a special edition.
with a power Armour helmet and will be out 14th November.

Fallout Shelter is also on its way to PS4 and Nintendo Switch Tonight.

Elder scrolls gets a mobile game in the form of Elder Scrolls Blades a full fledged RPG which looks pretty good actually.

E3 2018 - Microsoft Press Conference

Well Microsoft's briefing  Just wrapped up and there's a lot to get through so lets get started.

We kicked of with a trailer to a new Halo game titled Halo Infinite. It didn't show to much more
of a teaser really.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps was up next and looks gorgeous and if its anything like the first it's
going to be an arty experience.

New From Software game, Yeah. Published Activision Booo. Well its called Sekrio: Shadows Die Twice.
Set in Feudal Japan and looking as every bit intense as other From Software Games.

Weirdly Bethesda popped up with a Fallout 76 trailer (which I have to say I'm very excited for).
Fallout 76 will be 4 times the size Fallout 4,  will be set earlier than the original Fallout and
will take place in West Virginia. Country Roads and all that.
Also Fallout 4 is now on Game Pass.

A new game in the Life is Strange universe called The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit looked interesting, Also its free.

Crackdown 3 has a release date and its February 22nd
Also out on Feb 22nd is Metro Exodus and it looks grim and miserable and wonderful.

Nier Automata is getting a re-release with all its DLC.

Kingdom Hearts is on its way to Xbox for the first time with Kingdom Hearts 3, Now with more frozen.

Sea of Thieves is getting some DLC in the shape of Forsaken Shores and Cursed Sails. So grab your crew.

Battlefield 5 popped up and showed exactly the same stuff us yesterday.

Now Forza Horizon 4 is on its way October 2nd and to Game Pass on the same day and it's set in Britain, So we
can tear about my home country wooooo.

Next we got told that Microsoft have acquired 5 new studios, those being Undead Labs, Playground Games, Ninja Theory,
Compulsion games and a new studio called The Initiative. So only time will tell what they can do with these.

Speaking of Compulsion games, We Happy Few is out of beta on August 10th

PUBGs getting some new maps and a mode called war zone. That's all we know at the mo, I expect more will be shown over  the next few days.

Tales of Vasperia will be out in the Winter.

The Division 2 was announced. Set in Washington D.C. it will be out March 15th and lets just hope its not as boring
as the first one.

Now you can get bored with The first Division as well because its now out on Game Pass along with Elder Scrolls Online.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider which is out September 14th and apparently this will wrap up the origin story. But I can't
see them ever being as good as the original games.

Skateboarding game Session popped up next and looks like a really decent skating game.

MMO Black Desert was shown to mild response.

DEVIL MAY CRY 5!!!! Apparently a true squeal to DMC 4  which is amazing and hope its going good.

More DLC, This time for Cuphead in the form of Cuphead: The Delicious last course, It introduces a new playable character

Tunic an adorable Zelda-Esq game developed by one guy was given some time. Its great that solo developers are being
given some major screen time.

Anime galore in Cross over fighter Jump Force, With the likes of Naruto, Dragonball Z and One Piece.

More Zombies in Dying Light 2, I couldn't give a monkeys.

Battletoads will be back in 2019, Hopefully with controller snapping difficulty.

Rico's back in Just Cause 4 on December 4th now with added tornadoes.

A Few Gears of War games popped up and kicked off with a baffling new mobile game that joins Gears and Pop Vinyl in
a thing called Gears Pop. On its way to the PC is a tactics game called, Get this, Gears tactics. Finally a new main
series game was announced in the form of Gears 5.

Just as Phil Spencer was about to sign off he was interrupted by the world premiere of Cyberpunk 2077. Its been years since this was first announced and finally we get to see something even if it was a just a trailer at least its
something.

Well it seemed like a good year for Microsoft, So we will see what Sony and Nintendo have tomorrow and Tuesday.

Anyway Bethesda's conference starts in a few hours, So until then.

E3 2018 - EA Press Conference

Well EA just finished their press conference and lets be honest it was a bit slow and boring.

Battlefield 5 was shown in most of its glory and we were assured there wouldn't be any premium content
or loot creates so we will see what comes of that.
Also Battlefield will get a Battle Royale mode, So yeah that's a thing.

FIFA 19 popped up now with Champions League licenced for it. That's all really.

Origin Access Premium was announced from what I gather it seems similar to EA Access, So another
subscription service.

Jedi Fallen Order was announced by Respawn but that was it no logo or anything.

More Star Wars this time Battlefront 2 and a very brave man who came out alone and announced that Han Solo
content from the new film is on its way, along with the ability to squad up with friends.
A new starship dogfight mode and maps, heroes and villains from the Clone Wars period, Which will include General
Grievous, Count Doku, Obi Wan Kanobi and Anakin Skywalker.

YARNY'S BACK. Yes Unravel 2 was up next looking adorable as ever bu now with local co-op which is always welcome,
Oh yeah and its out now.

Sea of Solitude was up next a beautiful looking game about loneliness. It did look good and I'm going to be watching
it keenly.

NBA and Madden 19 showed nothing new really.

Fucking mobile games came next and it was a new Command and Conquer game as well. It looked awful, boring and the same as about 90% of mobile games.

Last up was Anthem due out 22nd February it might as well be called Destiny 3 and it seems that Bioware don't have
an original idea in their collective heads. Anthem just seemed to be a hodge podge of other Sci Fi franchises, maybe
more will come but as it stands it doesn't look great.

Anyway that was EA at E3 2018. I'll be back tomorrow with all the info from Microsoft and Bethesda.

AFL Evolution - Review

Sports, We seem to either love them or hate them and that goes for sports video games as well.

Sports games have been around since video games have been around, In fact one of the first games ever was
Tennis for Two made on an old oscilloscope, so there has been tons of games over numerous systems.

Anyway enough of that, Aussie Rules or footy as I believe its known has never really soared in popularity in the UK as much as maybe it should have but that's not stopped some of the AFL games from hitting our shores and I'm going to drone on a bit today about the newest one AFL Evolution.

Developed by Wicked Witch Software and Published by Tru Blu the game has a good and experienced team behind it
and after watching the sport for a bit the games going to need it.

Aussie rules like rugby isn't the easiest of sports to transition into a video game and the team have done a
good job with it. There are a few issues though mainly the gameplay to me seemed a bit well clumsy at times and playing on easy became laughable as I was able to run past opposition players who seemed completely
oblivious to what was going on around them, So if you want a challenge or you're a veteran at these types
of games then it maybe best to start at medium or hard. That being said the gameplay is fun and for a newcomer
like myself it was very easy to pick up and play.

Considering this was made on a much tighter budget then EA and 2Ks yearly offerings there is a whole host of
features here. Both women's and men's AFL teams are here as well as VFL, NAB U18, TAC Cup and International teams.
There's the standered single game and online games as well as a competition  mode and for what I believe is the first
time a Be a pro mode in which you can take control of a single player and take them form unknown rookie all the
way through there career to the AFL.
Along with Be a pro you can also take over a team as a coach and embark on a career allowing you to manage a team and deal with things like player trades, drafts and salary caps along with the Tribunal and training.

The Fan hub also allows you to create players and teams and share them online with other players.

There is plenty here for your money and for fans of the sport its been the first game in a few years so its well worth a purchase. If your a newcomer to the sport or you just want to try something a bit different its worth a look.

Goosebumps Books

Books, You know those things that can provide hours of entertainment and can take you away to fantasic
worlds of wonder and imagination, You know those things.

So i'm going to bang on about books, Namely the

Goosebumps series.
When I was young there was only one place to go for something scary and that was goosebumps. Ok there were
probebly other places like movies, But these were steered much more towards kids and were massivly popular.

Authour R.L. Stine started the original series of books in 1992 with Welcome to Dead House and ended in
1997 with Monster Blood 4 and in the span of thoose 5 years released 62 books.

It was a lot to keep up with and I dont think I ever remembered anyone with a full set, But now a days you
can find the books on ebay and alike.

Goosebumps is still going today and is well worth looking into.

Retro Review - WWF Super Wrestlemania

Well this is one of the biggest weekends on the pro wrestling calendar, collectively now known as Wrestlemania
weekend.
Tons of events are taking place across New Orleans this weekend leading up to the big event its self,
Wrestlemania 34, So I thought i'd have a look at a few old wrestling games.
Now I was going to play the Smackdown games or No Mercy on the N64, Oh or even Wrestlemania 2000,
But I decided to go with Super Wrestlemania on the Sega Megadrive.
Now this reviews going to be shorter then most i will admit, purely because I can't really find much to say about it.

WWF Super Wrestlemania was released in 1992 for both the SNES and the Megadrive. Both games were developed
by Sculptured Software but published by different companies, Flying Edge published the Megadrive version and
those proprietors of garbage LJN, This may explain why each version got different rosters.
Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan and Ted DiBiase were on both games, other than that each version of the game got a unique roster. The Undertaker, Sid Justice, and Jake The Snake Roberts along with tag teams the Legion of Doom and Natural Disasters for the Super Nintendo and The Ultimate Warrior, Shawn Michaels, The British Bulldog, Papa Shango and  Irwin R. Schyster for the Megadrive, This is annoying if you didn't care for some of the wrestlers on your respected
console, Also why did the SNES version get two tag teams and the Megadrive none. Weird.

The gameplay is what you'd expect for the 16 bit era, It had a kind of tug of war style of grappling system, where players grapple with the other players or the CPU and then beat them by tapping the A button more than your opponent to perform a move. Every wrestler has the same move set but only the megadrive has signature moves, Well that's what having  different publishers does.

Each version has the same three exhibition matches, 1 on 1, tag team and a 4 on 4 match resembling the Survivor Series match.
Again the Megadrive had an extra mode. A WWF Championship mode in which the player can take any superstar through the ranks to win the WWF Championship. This wasn't to bad and was the closest the game got to a story or career mode.

Super Wrestlemania wasn't bad but there was better out there at the time and only a year later WWF Royal Rumble and  soon after WWF Raw came out so it really only lasted the year as most sports games are.

If you find a copy for cheap give it a shop or just find a lets play on you tube.
